So back in the winter, I went on 5 dates with this guy, and then he rudely ghosted me. I am pretty sure he didn't like that I turned down his "advances" for a 3rd time, and it probably bruised his ego. I decided I wanted to make him feel a little uncomfortable and I waited for 2 months, and then I texted him "Happy 56th" on his birthday. I didn't really expect an answer, so I was surprised when he said Thanks! How have you been? I just generically replied, I'm good, how are you? He replies, "Doing ok, dealing with a few things, and keeping my head down" I just said hope it all works out. I didn't inquire a thing because I knew it was just him blowing me off, lol! I am sorry that I contacted him, and I didn't expect a reply. It backfired on me. It made me feel bad all over again! 😢

Why not going back with your kids’ father? From my perspective, most single mothers ended up single because they think they can find something better but who’d be a better partner than the person you had a child with? I get it, sometimes that relationship is not meant to be but if that’s the case at least go try to fix things up with your BD so that you both can move on and be great parents for the child, don’t just dump that guy because you know you can get someone better because most women won’t, not because they’re single moms but because the dating culture is so sh*tty right now and not everyone is willing to have a serious relationship.

I think women do this more than men, especially since the average woman these days tend to have more options than the average man. This seems like something the top 10% of men do, not the average dude. Not saying this doesn’t happen with men being the breadcrumbers but it’s a lot less common. Speaking from very recent experience here.

I’m seeing a guy right now. We started out as friends and honestly we were introduced by a mutual friend and he seemed like a genuine guy. We didn’t know each other well, and I found him always initiated the contact. We became more friendly and a little flirty. He has a full time job, is a cool guy and started to ask to come over in his free time; where we got to know each other, watch fun movies, and relax. As weeks have passed by I’ve noticed that I think about him more, he can be dynamic and make me feel good so I started developing feelings. Again, we hang out more consistently but I wasn’t sure how he felt. I was in a good mood one night we were hanging out, I felt chemistry and he finally made a move on me (that wasn’t overly physical but romantic). We still see each other frequently, and have gotten more affectionate, but he hasn’t clearly said what he feels for me. I guess I’m just a bit confused on where we stand. And we hang out so regularly that I feel he wouldn’t even have time to see other girls. I just don’t want to move forward or seem desperate without knowing where he stands. :)

YES 👍🏻👏🏻 I have always known this but for the past 8 years weirdos and intruders have integrated to create obstacles to me finding love. Always advising against me moving on and finding love. Always suggesting that i should be stuck on guys who are ghosts, watching me like creeps via cameras through my friends, listening to my private conversations and essentially keeping me on reserve as entertainment and backup, without ever texting, calling, taking me out or dating me. They have forcefully wasted my time for NO reason.
